Today marks seven months since this whole roller coaster began. The only one riding has been me, but after tonight, I'm either letting the roller coaster go up tracks or stop completely. That's what tonight is all about. When I finally get to talk to you, things are going to finally be out there. I don't know what you know, what you've heard, how you are going to react, how things will change, if I will be successful, if you're going to be shocked, or how many people will know by this time tomorrow. However, I do know that it's time. It's been time. And I'm late. That's my own fault. But better late than never.




It's okay. I'll accept that people stop being your friend. It's hard, but then so is life. Lots of people will betray you out there, but then if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't appreciate the loyal friends as much as you do and value your friendships with them too. The scary part is when the loyal people cross sides. You let them in so much, and then 'poof' their gone in the blink of an eye. Sometimes with no reason to explain their disappearance, and all you're left with is a ton of pictures and memories of what used to be.

Then you go out there and find somebody else.




Isn't it funny how something can seem so hard? Something can seem so difficult, but once you get the nerve to go out and do something it is suprisingly so easy? So was the case today when I finally talked to someone I haven't talked to in many months. We were supposed to go to high school and be great friends, talk about everything and anything, and take the journey together; unfortunately the kind of people he talks to and I are very unsimilar and I feel somewhat oppressed by the people, so I haven't talked to him at all this whole year, but everytime I saw him I felt really bad because I knew what was holding me back. So I finally made the move to go and talk to him again today and I was shocked at how easy it was. His whole clique just backed off away from us, while we talked...and I was happy.

Its my thought that if you can truly cry for someone, that person has been of true importance to your life. Sometimes its at a funeral, sometimes its on your bed in the middle of the night. No tear ever shed, is shed for nothing, when you are no longer a child.
